On the way home from church we made a few stops along the way because it was one of those perfect Maine summer mornings. Come have a look and I’m sure you’ll agree!
I saw this man painting and asked him if I could photograph him and he agreed. His name is Timothy Parks and he is a Maine pastel artist.
He drives a groovy car!
Walker’s Point.
Next we stopped at Cape Porpoise.
What a wonderful morning we’ve had!
Fantastic photos Averyl, and thank you so much for featuring me on your wonderful blog. I am, as you said a pastelist, but today you caught me painting in acrylics (a bad habit of mine I can’t seem to break). Love your blog, and thanks again.

Hi Tim! Thanks for checking out my blog and I’m glad you like the pics of you as well as my blog! I think it’s natural and wise for all artists and writers to “deviate” from one preferred method to dabble in others. Good for you. 🙂

Very nice!! To be chosen by art is a mixed blessing, but most still wouldn’t have it any other way.

Such spectacular beauty!! How I miss the sea! The art of Mr. Parks inspires me to go back to my art now that we find ourselves with an “empty nest”. Thank you for sharing.
