Although it can be so destructive, ice can also be beautiful. When I took these photos just now I smiled at the long dead leaves that never fell or blew away. I wonder how they keep hanging on?

What a week weather wise! Even today, we went from snow, to sleet, to freezing rain, and now just rain. Hoping it stops before the temps drop. I see some icing on your trees!

Same here-it’s raining now but the trees are very icy. I broke up and cleared most of the ice in the driveway until my back said nope, Wayne will do the rest when he gets home. Got to get rid of that before the temps drop. As you know if you don’t it’s a thick sheet of lumpy ice! The icy trees, forsythia and azalea sure are pretty, though!

Good luck with your ice removal! My husband just did the walks an hour ago and they are all mushy stuff again. I think it’s melting from the sides. Ugh!
