For the first time in a year I went to the outdoor flea market and indoor antique shops. It feels so good to be able to go out picking things other than the dandelions from my front yard!
These are my fun flea finds: vintage Christmas goodies and vintage Smokey the Bear items including a set of four cute little hankies that would look nice framed.
I paid $2 for this Judas Priest album.
Wayne and I had such a nice time finally going out to dinner INDOORS at one of our favorite restaurants. The food was so good as was being there!
Meanwhile, the dandelions still need to be picked! We do not treat our yard with chemicals. We choose the bees and wildlife over cosmetics!

Wonderful! It makes such a difference in our lives to be able to do these simple things again, like hug my (vaccinated) friends! Haven’t seen any outdoor market yet, but we have a small group shop that I just happened to stop into the other day.

I’m curious, do the dandelions not grow back when picked?

Yes they do. Sometimes I just pick the flowers before they turn to seeds so they won’t spread, but mostly I remove the plant from the root. That’s a lot of hard work and I did that for over two hundred or so dandelions. So between the times I do that I do just pick the flowers.
