A lesson learned. Shown above is today, below a few years ago.

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.”

Or where invasive bittersweet is flourishing. I learned the cemetery removed the statue and there are no plans for her return. Not even a memorial remains forever.

    1. I believe it’s due to the bridge falling apart. They removed the other statues on the bridge as well, although she was just bordering it. It’s very sad. I think they may lack the funds to replace and repair.
